As a Business Analyst, you would manage the requirements of our digital health platform’s applications and interfaces, defining both functional and non-functional product requirements. You need to work closely with the Product Owners and Development teams to ensure that the developed product is aligned with customer needs and the business vision.

Key Job Responsibilities  

  • Responsible for aligning our customers’ needs with the product’s features and capabilities. Work closely with the Product Owner, Customer Support, Product Operations and Sales in this regard. 
  • Understanding, structuring, detailing and validating the product requirements to ensure suitable solutions for the customer base. You need to be capable of asking the right questions, eliciting responses from the Product Owner and customers, so as to gain a clear understanding of the product requirements, which are then to be defined clearly for the team.  
  • Document and communicate product features and use-cases through documentation, wireframes, interaction flows and user acceptance tests (UAT). 
  • If the Product Owner has already documented the outlines of a feature, review it and ensure it is completed to the necessary level of detail, seeking necessary clarifications from the Product Owner and also performing independent fact-checking and research. 
  • Work closely with Engineering to ensure that designs and developed applications correctly reflect requirements and meet user experience criteria; ensuring that the end-users of the product are provided with an optimal user experience. 
  • Look for bugs, usability issues and gaps in existing features and assess their impact on the product adoption and value for the end-users.  
  • Plan data strategies that are sometimes required for product updates and the introduction of new features.  
  • Advise the Product Owner on updates required to the product’s usage Terms, which may sometimes be necessitated by the addition of new or changed features.  
  • Assist in maintaining the Product Backlog; Participate in sprint planning and sprint reviews; Help ensure that product releases are made on time 
  • Track product and platform issues from operations, customer support and sales teams; Perform usability tests on the live product and report on that;  

Preferred skills

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst  
  • Knowledge of tools like Balsamiq, JIRA, Invision, Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) 
  • Knowledge of different platform usability & UI guidelines (web, Android, iOS) 
  • Strong observational and analytical skills to interpret business and product requirements and translate them into easy to comprehend use cases. 
  • Be a facilitator with an investigative and fact-checking approach to problem-solving 
  • Ability to plan the functional tasks that go into development of product features 
  • Ability to take ownership, make decisions and answer questions during product development  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good listening capabilities 
  • Basic knowledge of software technologies, databases, cloud infrastructure, payment gateways 
  • Experience working with development teams and knowledge of software development processes 
  • Knowledge of standards and protocols in health IT would be an advantage
