Brief description :
The Content Developer/Editor is primarily responsible for supporting all aspects of training module development and delivery process from creation, through item writing and form development activities, to pre and post training exam delivery and analysis. The successful candidate will facilitate the creation of training modules of the highest quality through creating storyboard, review, process documentation and procedural compliance. They will provide quality control for all training, participant questions, and forms. The Content DeveloperEditor must not only serve as a content expert with a broad understanding of the relevant topics but demonstrate mastery of the written language as well.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the development of training modules, materials and online learning/course sites to support program initiative in collaboration with content team
Answer questions regarding training and develop Q&A documentation that will be available to all training participants.
Track, process and analyze data using Excel; compile statistical information and generate reports for client
Assist in data collection, data entry and the compilation of summary data for educational and grant-related and/or departmental reporting.
Utilize advanced computer skills in the preparation and supervision of all highly technical documents, manuscripts, and reports; training modules and materials; marketing materials, websites, newsletters and brochures; survey/ questionnaires, mail merges; posters, tables, slides, graphics, charts, spreadsheets, forms and other related documents.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, literature or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted. A minimum of 3-5 years’ professional work experience is required, preferably as a copywriter, content developer, editor or similar communications position with published work across different mediums. Demonstrated experience in writing and editing for a mission-driven organization.
Experience with program planning and development required. Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate the efforts of a team in order to accomplish objectives.
