Job Summary :

The Executive – Human Resources will report directly to Head HR. As a member of the Human Resources organization, he/she contributes to a high level of human resource generalist knowledge. He/she will be accountable for talent acquisition, succession/workforce planning, performance management and training & development, and coaching/developing others to help influence and execute business objectives in the most efficient manner. He/she generally works with considerable independence, developing processes to accomplish objectives in alignment with broader business objectives. Additionally, he/she utilizes a Human Resource Business Plan aligned with the organisation and brand strategies to deliver HR services that enable business success.

Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Developing and administering human resources plans and procedures that relate to company personnel
  • Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department
  • Contributing to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems
  • Developing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures
  • Maintaining and revising the company’s handbook on policies and procedures
  • Performing benefits administration
  • Maintaining affirmative action programs
  • Overseeing recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads
  • Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counselling
  • Overseeing exit interviews
  • Maintaining department records and reports
  • Participating in administrative staff meetings
  • Maintaining company directory and other organizational charts
  • Recommending new policies, approaches, and procedures
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

Education & Experience :

  • 2- year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration.
  • 2+ years experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area.

  • Willingness to work in flexible office timings – morning, afternoon or evening depending on business exigencies
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
